Bertie, a beautiful 15.1hh, 19-year-old dark bay gelding with an impressive background in eventing at BE and Pony Club levels.
He is a striking sports horse with a kind and gentle nature. Sadly, he sustained an injury in 2022 through no fault of his own and has since undergone a period of recuperation. Now, he is back in light hacking work, which he thoroughly enjoys, and he is not ready to retire just yet!
He would be perfect for a confident teenager or adult rider who loves hacking and wants to continue riding. Bertie is safe and sensible, but is not suited to beginners or novice riders, someone with some experience would be ideal.
He is currently stabled in Stratford-upon-Avon, at a lovely yard with excellent hacking routes, and he will need to remain there.
